Time for part two of our series “3 PAID AND 3 FREE THINGS THAT YOU MUST DO AT YOUR WEDDING…”
Now, lets make your wedding even more memorable, for free!!!
1) DON’T STRESS THE DETAILS
Sometimes things don’t go 100% as planned, and that’s okay, it gives your wedding another story to be told. Remember, you wait days, month, and years for this day to come, worrying if the coffee creamer was put out should be the last thing on your mind. The less you worry about the details, the more you will actually enjoy your day.
2) PLAN AN AWESOME SPEECH
Lots of people came to your wedding, some from very far away. They shared such an important day in your life, you may even consider many of these people like family. Be sure to say something nice, an impromptu speech is not a bad thing, but often times you may forget a very important person you wanted to mention or a fun anecdote about someone or something.
Lastly, don’t forget your new bride or groom. Sorry fellas, I am going to have to say that most often I see the groom forget to address his bride. I get it, not everyone is sappy and overly romantic in public. However, your new bride or groom just vowed to spend the rest of their days with you, something more than “I love you” is always a nice start.
Finally, a good speech is always something people will remember for a while. Perhaps most importantly, for us video folks anyhow, it really provides some killer audio for your video.
3) SOAK IT IN!
This is the best advice we can give you. After all, how often can you say you are planning a party for tens to hundreds of your family and friends? This is a big party all about the two of you, in a matter of moments, its passed you by. So be sure when creating your wedding timeline, set some time to just sit back and embrace the moment. Remember the vows, speeches, décor, food, and everyone who came to celebrate you!
Remember, you want everyone to enjoy themselves, but this day is all about the two of you. Be sure to take every step necessary to make the day you have dreamt of, a reality.
